This time last year, Kyler Murray was recovering from a torn ACL and the new Arizona Cardinals front office was just settling in.
Now two years removed from surgery, the Cardinals' offense remains the same.
Murray is excited, healthy, and has no limits on his future with the 2024 Cardinals.
"Am I excited? Of course, I'm very excited," Murray said Wednesday. "I feel great. It's a blessing to be healthy, and to have the support of your head coach and everyone around you, of course, of course. I believe we can do it."
Murray tore his ACL in December 2022, ending his fourth NFL season and his time under head coach Kliff Kingsbury and general manager Steve Keim. As he recovered from the subsequent surgery, Murray watched Arizona go through massive changes, including the hiring of head coach Jonathan Gannon and general manager Monti Ossenfort.
In 2023, Murray made his season debut in Week 10. He showed potential from the start in offensive coordinator Drew Petzing's system, but his confidence grew as his understanding of the offense deepened as his knee fully healed.
"This feels like the best offseason I've had in a long time," Murray said. "It's been really rewarding to be able to 1) stay healthy and 2) connect with my teammates and really be involved.
"It's really different; when I'm out there, we're all better together, and it really makes a difference. It's been a good offseason not only on the field, but off the field as well."
If this great offseason translates into a successful 2024 season, what would that look like?
"Win a Super Bowl," Murray responded when asked about his mission for the upcoming season.
